Kamala Nethralaya Hospital

Kamala Nethralaya Hospital is situated at No.81 on the first floor in the 4th B Block of Koramangala. Being on the first floor means there are some stairs to climb, which is something people should know before they come. We are very close to the BDA Complex, so that helps people figure out where we are. It’s a busy section of town, especially on weekends when everyone is out doing their errands. The building is a bit older, but it serves the purpose. Inside, it's mostly focused on eyes since that is what we do here. The waiting room isn't huge, but we try to keep it tidy. Sometimes the light coming through the windows is quite bright in the afternoon. We see a lot of people every day, some just for a quick check and others for longer stuff. It's a practical setup, really. No one is wearing suits or trying to be overly formal. We just get on with the work of checking eyes and helping people see a bit better. The area around the BDA Complex has changed a lot since we first started, but the clinic stays pretty much the same. We have a small desk at the front where someone will usually help you sign in. It’s a bit of a walk from the main bus stops, but most people manage to find their way to us eventually. We don't have fancy coffee machines, just a water dispenser in the corner.
