Royale Silk Fab

Royale Silk Fab is tucked away at No. 7/18 on Plot-135 in Shiva Farm. It’s just off Magadi Main Road in Kamakshipalya. We do a lot of work with silk and other fabrics here. The looms and machines are always running during the day. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the yarn and cloth everywhere. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for years. The air is always full of tiny fibers, so we keep the doors open for ventilation. It’s not a polished showroom, just a place where the actual making happens. We don't have a lot of walk-in customers because we are a bit set back from the main road. Most of our work goes out to other shops in the city. The area around Shiva Farm is a mix of houses and small workshops like ours. We start work early while it's still cool. By the afternoon, the heat makes the metal roof quite warm. We have a small desk near the front where we keep our records and a phone that rings more than it should. It’s a busy life but we’re used to it. We just focus on the fabric and making sure the machines don't break down. It’s a simple setup for the work we do. Nothing fancy about it, just getting the production done each day as required.
