Metro Aluminium

Metro Aluminium is tucked away in the old part of Kalasipalyam. We are located at No. 14/1, right on the 5th Cross near the 2nd Main. This neighborhood has been around forever, and our shop has been a part of it for a good while too. We deal with a lot of metal scraps and long aluminium poles that take up most of the floor space. You will hear the loud sound of cutting saws if you happen to walk by during the afternoon. It is a noisy business, but your ears eventually get used to it. The floor is almost always covered in those tiny silver metal shavings that seem to get into everything. We have to wear heavy boots just to keep our feet safe from the sharp bits. Sometimes we run out of room for the bigger door frames, so they end up stacked against the walls in the hallway. It is not the most organized looking place in the world, but we know exactly where every piece is kept. My brother handles the deliveries when our old truck is actually running right. Some days are much busier than others, especially when the local builders have big orders due. We don't do any advertising; people just seem to find us by talking to their neighbors. The sun hits the front of the shop in the late afternoon, making it quite hot inside. We just open the back door to let a breeze through.
