Our office and workshop are located at B-14 in the Iti Anciallery Industrial Estate, right near the Mahadevpura Post. It’s a busy part of the city, and getting here in the morning can be a bit of a challenge with the traffic. KabelSchlepp India Pvt.Ltd. has been operating out of this space for a while. We deal with things like cable carriers and tracks, so there is always a lot of plastic and metal links lying around on the benches. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s not too loud either. We spend our time assembling these chains and making sure they move smoothly. Sometimes the parts don't arrive on time or a machine acts up, and we have to spend the afternoon troubleshooting. It’s just part of the job. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't really gotten around to it because we are usually busy with orders. We have a small group of people here who know exactly how these systems are supposed to go together. We don't really have any big slogans or anything like that. If someone asks what we do, we just show them the carriers. It’s practical work for practical people. We take our lunches together sometimes when the weather is nice, or we just grab something from the stall down the road. It’s a decent place to work and we just keep doing what we do. That’s our daily routine here.
