K N Surya Prakash & Associates is located at 62 Banneraghatta Road. This is a very busy stretch of road, so we are used to the constant sound of horns and engines. The office is a modest space, nothing like the big glass buildings you see further down the street. We’ve been here for quite some time, and the place has a lived-in feel to it. There are stacks of papers everywhere, and the desks are old-fashioned. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to polish our image. We just do the work as it comes in. Most of the people who work here have been together for years, so we’re a pretty tight-knit group. We start our mornings early to beat some of the traffic, though that’s getting harder to do these days. There’s a small tea shop nearby where we usually go in the mid-morning. The office doesn't have much in the way of decoration, just the basics like calendars and a few clocks. We handle a lot of routine stuff, and the days usually go by pretty fast. Banneraghatta Road is always expanding and changing, but our little office at number 62 stays pretty much the same. We like the stability of it. It’s a simple, honest place to work without any of the corporate stress you find in other parts of the city.
