K K Telecoms & Times

You can find us over at No.8 on BVK Iyengar Road, right near that 13th Cross intersection. It’s a tight spot, but K K Telecoms & Times has been tucked away here for a good bit. If you’ve walked down RT Street, you know how the shops are all piled on top of each other. We do a mix of things, mostly phones and watches, which keeps us pretty occupied. One minute I’m trying to fix a screen and the next someone wants a watch strap changed. The shop is small, so we have to keep everything organized, or it becomes a total mess. The noise from the street never really stops, so we’ve just gotten used to it. Sometimes the rain leaks a bit near the front door if it’s heavy, but we just put a bucket down and keep going. Customers are usually local people who live around here or traders from the nearby markets. We don’t have any fancy signs or big displays. It’s just a counter, some shelves, and a lot of wires. Dealing with electronics and timepieces means you need a bit of patience, which we’ve learned over the years. We usually stay open late because that’s when most people are heading home and stop by for quick repairs. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we enjoy being right in the middle of all the action on this road.
