K K Kumar & Co is based at 262 Rajajinagar on the Drive In Road. One of the easiest ways to find us is to look for the Cake Palace because our office is right above it. It is actually quite nice because we get the smell of baking bread and cakes wafting up during the day, though it does make us hungry before lunchtime. Being on Drive In Road means we are in a fairly busy spot, but being on the floor above the shop gives us a little bit of distance from the street level noise. The office itself is full of books and papers. We have a lot of things to keep track of, so the shelves are pretty packed. It is a cozy space, maybe a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. We spend a lot of time talking to each other about the different tasks we have going on. The stairs up from the street are a little narrow, so you have to watch your step. We have been here in Rajajinagar for a good while and know the area well. It’s just a normal office where we do our daily work without making a big fuss about it. We like being above the Cake Palace; it makes our little corner of 262 feel a bit more like home. We stay until the shop downstairs starts closing.
