K. C. Industries & Fabricators

K. C. Industries & Fabricators is based at C-340 on 3rd Main, 6th Cross in the 1st Stage of Peenya Industrial Estate. Peenya is a massive place with lots of noise and dust, and we’re right in the middle of it. Our shed is full of metal sheets and welding gear. Fabrication is what we do every day. It’s not a clean job. We’re usually wearing heavy gloves and masks. The sound of metal hitting metal is something you get used to. We don't have an office with air conditioning. It’s just the workshop and a small desk for the bills. The 6th Cross can get pretty crowded with lorries loading and unloading. We have to move our stuff quickly to keep the road clear. It’s a busy life here in the industrial estate. We started small and just stayed in this same spot. The walls are a bit stained from the smoke and the machines. We don't have a website or anything like that. Most of our work comes from neighbors in the estate or people who have heard about us through word of mouth. We just take the drawings people bring in and try to make them out of steel or iron. It’s basic, honest labor. We don't make any big claims about what we do. We just turn the machines on in the morning and work until the job is done.
