K & A Architects

K & A Architects is our small firm located at 36 Hennur Main Road in Bangalore. We are right near the Charles School, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find us. This part of St. Thomas Town is pretty active, and the traffic on Hennur Main Road can be a real pain sometimes, but it’s a good spot for an office. Inside, we have a few drafting tables and some computers where we work on building designs. We aren't a massive corporate firm; it’s just a few of us who like drawing up plans for houses and commercial spaces. People come in with an idea of what they want their home to look like, and we try to put that onto paper for them. Sometimes we have to go out to the site to measure things, which means dealing with the Bangalore heat and the messy construction zones. We’ve been at this post for a long time, and we know the local building rules fairly well. The office is usually quiet, except for the sound of the traffic outside and the occasional school bell. We don’t have a fancy showroom, just some old projects pinned to the walls and a lot of coffee mugs. It’s a practical place to work, and we enjoy seeing a drawing eventually turn into a real building somewhere in the city. Karnataka is growing fast, so there is always some new project to look at.
