Just Books

Just Books is located over at No.31 in Panduranga Nagar, which is just off Bannerghatta Road. We are right next to the Adigas, which is a pretty good landmark if you’re trying to find us for the first time. The space is part of Navyam Enterprises. It’s a quiet little library and book spot where people can come and pick out something to read without too much fuss. We have rows of shelves filled with different genres. It’s mostly about letting people borrow books and bring them back when they’re done. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We don't have loud music or anything like that. It’s just a place for people who actually like reading. Sometimes the traffic on Bannerghatta Road makes it a bit noisy outside, but once you’re inside, it’s much calmer. We see a lot of people from the nearby apartments stopping by on their way home or after having breakfast at Adigas. The staff here consists of just a few of us who like keeping the books in order. We don't use any high-tech systems for the most part; we just keep track of what goes out and what comes back in our registers. It’s a practical setup for the neighborhood. We aren't trying to be a huge retail chain or a digital giant. We just want to make sure there are enough books available for the folks living around Panduranga Nagar who still enjoy turning actual pages. It's a nice little community spot for us.
