Just Bake

Our bakery is in Koramangala VI Bk, specifically at number 10 on the 17th B Main. It is a nice little corner in the 5th A Block neighborhood. We start baking very early in the morning while most people are still asleep and the streets are quiet. By the time the other shops open up, the whole street smells like sugar and baked bread. Just Bake has been part of this neighborhood for a good while now. We get a lot of students from the nearby colleges coming in to grab a snack between their classes. The display cases are usually full of whatever we finished making that morning. Sometimes we drop a tray or mess up a decoration and have to start all over again. It is not a perfect place, but we work hard at it. The staff wears aprons that are almost always covered in flour by the time lunch rolls around. We do not have a big corporate team telling us how to run things. It is just us behind the counter. The air conditioning works okay, but on those really hot days, it can get a bit warm inside near the ovens. We have a few small tables for people to sit at, but most people just take their boxes and head out. We write names on the cake boxes with a marker that is usually running out of ink.
