Junior Engg

My name is Viswanatha B. and I handle the junior engineer work at our location in Bangalore. We are based at Swgatha Shanthi Nivas, which is house number 18 on the 18th Cross in Maruthi Nagar. This is in the Vijayanagar-40 area of the city. I’ve been working here for some time now, and it’s a fairly straightforward setup. I don't have a big corporate team; it's mostly just me looking after the technical details of our projects. My office is a small room that’s usually cluttered with drawings and measurement tools. Being in Bangalore means there is always construction or some kind of engineering work happening nearby. I spend most of my mornings on the phone or out at site visits, making sure the plans are being followed correctly. The 18th Cross is a busy little street, but our building is easy enough to spot. I don't believe in using a lot of marketing fluff to describe what I do. It’s just engineering. I make sure things are built right and that the math works out. It’s a busy life, especially with the Bangalore traffic, but I like being in Vijayanagar. There are good places to get coffee nearby, which helps when the days get long. I just take each project as it comes and try to do a solid job without making a big fuss about it.
