Jr.architect

My place is in Srirampuram, right on 1 Cross. The address is 41335, which sounds like a lot of numbers but it’s easy enough to find once you get into the lane. I’ve been working here as an architect for a while, mostly on my own or with a bit of help when things get really swamped. The office is small and it’s mostly filled with rolls of paper and a couple of computers that have seen better days. I do a lot of residential work, helping families figure out how to add a room or fix up an old house. Srirampuram is a tight-knit place, so I end up seeing the same faces a lot. I don't have a receptionist or anything like that, so if the phone rings, I’m usually the one picking it up. My days are a mix of drawing at the desk and riding my bike out to different construction sites to see if the masons are following the plans. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes things don’t go perfectly, but we find a way to make it work. I like the practical side of building. It’s not just about how it looks on a screen, but how it feels when you walk inside. I try to keep my costs down so I can help out folks who don't have a massive budget. It’s honest work and it keeps me on my toes throughout the year.
