J.R. Rao & Co.

J.R. Rao & Co. is located on the 7th floor of Devatha Plaza, which is at 131 Residency Road. Being up on the seventh floor means we spend a fair amount of time waiting for the lifts, especially during the lunch hour when everyone in the building is on the move. Our office is number 706. It’s a decent space that fits all our files and desks. Residency Road is always humming with activity, but up here it’s a little quieter. We’ve been based in Devatha Plaza for quite a while, so we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the building. The staff here is small and we all know each other well. Most days involve a lot of paperwork and phone calls. We don’t have fancy furniture or a big reception area; we just have what we need to work. People usually come to see us because they know the name and they know where to find us. We try to keep things honest and straightforward. Sometimes the weather gets grey outside and we can see the rain coming across the city from our windows. It’s a good spot to be. We just focus on our daily responsibilities and make sure our clients get what they need without any fuss. It’s a simple operation, really. Just a group of people working together in a familiar office building in the middle of a busy city and staying focused on the job.
