Gurupriya Vinyas isn't hard to find if you know the area. It’s one of those spots in Bangalore where you can really feel the city's pace. The morning commute is always a topic of conversation in the office. We usually start with a bit of small talk about the traffic on the way in. The office is tucked inside the building, and it's got that comfortable, lived-in feel. We have our desks set up just how we like them, with bits and pieces of personal stuff mixed in with the files. Sometimes the rain starts suddenly, and we all have to run to make sure the windows are shut. It gets a bit noisy when the street outside is full, but mostly we just focus on the task at hand. We aren't here to impress anyone with a flashy showroom; it's just a practical workspace for the team. There is a small pantry where we make tea, and that’s usually where the best ideas happen. We’ve been operating out of this spot for some time now. It’s home base for us. We know the local guys who deliver the mail and the security guards at the gate. It's a simple setup, but it’s where all the coordination for Johnson Lifts happens for this part of the city. We like it here.
