You can find Johnson Furniture House at No.248 on Kamaraj Road. We are in the Green View Homes building, right where the Murali Poly Clinic is. It’s a recognizable spot for people who live around here. We’ve been in the furniture business for a good bit of time. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. We spend most of our time among the tables and chairs. The building is decent and we’ve made our space work for us over the years. We aren't big on slogans or trying to sound like we're the only ones who do this. We just open up the shop and see who comes by. Kamaraj Road is usually busy, so we get a lot of people just dropping in to look around. We don't have a sales philosophy or anything like that. We just tell people the price and what the piece is made of. It’s honest work. Sometimes we get a bit behind on things, but we always catch up. It’s just a small team of us here. We handle the lifting and the selling ourselves. It’s a basic setup at No.248, and we don't feel the need to change much. We like the neighborhood and the people who stop in. It’s just our way of making a living. We keep the floor swept and the items ready, and that’s about all the magic there is to it.
