If you find yourself in Prasanthi Nagar in Bangalore, you might pass by Johler Co. We’ve been operating from here for a while now. Bangalore has changed so much with all the new buildings and the traffic that never seems to stop, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. We don’t have those huge glass offices you see in the tech parks. It’s a bit more modest here. We deal with our daily tasks, answering the phone and checking on orders. Sometimes the internet goes out when it rains, which happens a lot here, and we just sit around and wait for it to come back. It’s not a high-stress environment, but we stay busy enough. The staff here is just a few local people who live nearby. We know the tea stall owner down the street by name. Our desks are a bit cluttered with papers and old files because we haven't quite moved everything to computers yet. We do things the way we’ve always done them because it works for us. It’s practical and honest work. We don't put on any acts for anyone. If you come by, you’ll probably see us just working through the pile of things on our desks. It’s just a regular business trying to make a living in a very busy city. We take our lunches at the same time every day and try to avoid the heaviest traffic. It's a small life, but it belongs to us. We don't need any big titles to feel like we're doing okay for ourselves.
