We’re over at Gagan Darshan Apartments in Bangalore, specifically in Flat C-101 on the 10th Cross in Kanak Nagar. It’s a residential area, so it’s pretty calm compared to the rest of R.T. Nagar. H. Manjunath’s family runs things from here. It’s not your typical campus office. Since we’re in an apartment, it feels much more personal. We handle the administrative side of things for the engineering college from this spot. There are always papers to file and students or parents calling in with questions about classes or admissions. It’s a lot of coordinating between different departments. Sometimes the living room is full of files and we’re just trying to make sense of the schedules. Bangalore is a big city for education, and we’re right in the mix of it. We spend a lot of time on our computers and talking to people on the phone. It’s a busy life, but it’s good work. Being in Kanak Nagar means we’re close to everything we need. Most days are just about making sure the students have what they need and the paperwork for the college is in order. We don’t have a fancy reception desk, just a regular home setup that we’ve turned into a workspace. It works for us. We’ve been doing this for a while now and we know the ins and outs of the college requirements. It’s practical and it keeps us busy from morning until evening every day of the week.
