Jeevan Genset

If you go down 38th Main in J.P. Nagar 6th Phase, you'll find us at number 75. We’re right near the Rose Garden area. People usually use the Sindhoor Convention Hall as a landmark because it’s easier to spot from the main road than our small sign. At Jeevan Genset, we deal with generators all day. It’s a greasy job sometimes, but someone has to do it to keep the lights on. We have a lot of heavy equipment around the place, so you have to watch your step. It can get a bit loud when we’re testing things out in the back, but the neighbors are mostly okay with it. We’ve been in this part of Bangalore for quite some time now. We aren't a big corporation. It's just a shop where we fix things and talk to customers who need backup power for their homes or shops. Sometimes we're out on calls fixing things on-site, and other times we're just here in the shop. The Rose Garden neighborhood is nice, though the traffic near the convention hall can be a real headache on wedding days when the road gets blocked up. We just try to keep things simple. If a generator isn't working, we look at it until we find the problem. We don't have a fancy front office or anything. It's just a practical space for working on engines and parts. We like being part of the local community here. It feels like home to us.
