Jeevan Automats

We’ve been here at Kamakshi Palya near Vijay Wada Char Rasta for quite a long time now. The shop is small and usually a bit messy with parts and tools lying around. Jeevan Automats isn’t a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s mostly just us working on machines and trying to get things fixed for the people who come by. The traffic at the char rasta gets really loud during the day, so sometimes we have to shout just to hear each other. We started out with just a couple of benches and a few basic tools. Now we have more stuff, but the floor is still cracked in the corner where we dropped that heavy motor back in 2018. Most of the people who come here are regulars from around the neighborhood. They know where we are because of the old sign that’s a bit faded from the sun. We don't really have a front desk or a waiting room. You just walk in and see what we’re doing. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially when the fans aren't doing much, but we keep going. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and we have to shuffle things around to make space. It is what it is. We just focus on the work and making sure the parts are right. If you’re looking for us, look for the pile of old casings near the entrance. That’s usually how people find the place and get what they need.
