Jds Achitects Bangolore is run by Krishna V. Deshpande. We are located at No 220/A, which is on the 2nd Cross of the 9th Main in Banashankari. It is a fairly quiet part of Bengaluru compared to the city center, which is nice when you are trying to concentrate on architectural drawings and plans. Our office is more like a workspace than a corporate suite. We have desks piled with papers and rolls of blueprints everywhere. It is a bit messy sometimes, but that is just how we work. Being in Banashankari means we are surrounded by a lot of houses and local shops. We spend a lot of time drawing and chatting about how to make buildings work better for the people who will live in them. It is practical work, and we don't spend much time on fancy presentations unless it is really needed. Most of the time, we are just here at the 2nd Cross, working through the details of whatever project is on the table. The neighborhood is friendly, and we have been in this spot long enough to know the neighbors. It is a straightforward operation. We focus on the structural stuff and the layout of the spaces. If you come by, you’ll likely see us hunched over our desks or talking over a new design. It is just a normal day for us here in Bangalore, making sure the plans are right before anything gets built.
