Our office is right in the middle of the chaos at KR Market, specifically on Malavalli Rama Rao Road at No.12-A. Being behind SJP Road means we are surrounded by all the energy of the market every single day. If you have ever been to this part of Bangalore, you know it is always crowded and noisy, but we have grown to like it over the years. We have been here at Jc Gupta & Co for quite a while. The building is old and has a lot of character, even if the stairs are a bit narrow and steep. We spend our days dealing with various things, usually surrounded by the smell of flowers and spices from the market nearby. It’s a very hands-on environment. We don’t use any fancy software or have a modern interior design. It’s just wooden tables, old fans, and a lot of ledgers. Most of our neighbors are also long-time business owners, so everyone knows each other’s names and we look out for one another. Finding parking around here is almost impossible, so we usually suggest people take an auto or walk from the main gate. The pace is fast and sometimes it feels a bit overwhelming, but we just take it one day at a time. It’s an honest way to make a living in one of the oldest parts of the city. We keep things simple and just focus on the task.
