My Little One Store

Jayanagar 9th Block is usually a busy spot and our place at No. 1301 on the ground floor is right in the middle of it. My Little One Store is basically a collection of all the things kids need, piled up on metal shelves. It is a bit messy sometimes because people are always pulling things out to look at the sizes. We spend a lot of time folding and tidying things back up. The light comes in through the front door from 25th Main and we leave it open when it is not too dusty. You see grandmas coming in looking for gifts and young parents who look like they have not slept in weeks. We know most of the people who walk past the shop every day. It is a very local kind of place. There is no big fancy display, just stuff that works. The floor gets a bit dirty from the street traffic outside. We keep a small fan going near the counter because it gets stuffy in the afternoons. Sometimes the kids run around and knock things over, but you just laugh it off and pick it up. It is nice to see the families grow up. We have been in this ground floor spot for a bit. It is not a huge space, so you have to watch your step when the new boxes arrive. We just try to keep things simple and make sure people find what they need for their kids.
