Mangala Tours Travelines

Our office is right across from the New Arya Bhavan Sweets in Jayanagar. It is a good landmark because everyone knows where the sweet shop is. We spend most of our day looking at maps and bus schedules or trying to get the computer to load the train booking pages faster. Jayanagar is a busy area and there are always people walking by. Some stop in to ask about a trip to the hills or how much a taxi would cost to the airport. We try to keep track of all the different routes and prices but things change pretty fast in this business. The office has posters of different places on the walls, though some of them are getting a bit faded from the sun. It gets quite loud in here when the phones start ringing all at once. We handle a lot of the local travel stuff and sometimes longer trips if someone is feeling adventurous. It is mostly about getting the paperwork right and making sure the timings match up so nobody gets left behind at a station. We have some regulars who have been coming to us for years just to book their annual holiday. It is nice to see the same faces again. We don't have a big corporate feel here at all. It is just a few of us working behind the desks and trying to keep everything organized for the next traveler.
