Danyal Shipping International

Danyal Shipping International is tucked away at No. 55/5 on 30th Cross. It’s right in the 4th T-Block of Jayanagar. Being in Bangalore, the traffic outside is usually a mess, especially when the delivery trucks try to get through these narrow streets. We handle a lot of shipping stuff here. It’s mostly paperwork and coordinating where boxes need to go. The office isn't anything special to look at. We have some desks, a lot of files, and a coffee machine that barely works. My cousin and I started doing this a few years ago because we knew the logistics business. Most days are just spent on the phone or tracking shipments on the computer. It gets pretty loud when the neighborhood wakes up. We don't have a big lobby or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably see us buried under some manifests or labels. The building itself is an older one. We like the area because there are good food stalls nearby for lunch. Sometimes the internet goes down and we have to wait around, which is annoying. It’s a simple operation really. We just make sure things move from one place to another without too much trouble. It’s not a glamorous job but it keeps us busy. We try to stay organized but with so many packages moving, the floor usually has something sitting on it. That is just how it is in this line of work.
