Jauhar Textiles

You can find us right in the middle of City Market on Avenue Road. Jauhar Textiles is on the ground floor of the Chandraviha building, number 373. It’s right across from the bank, so it’s a landmark most people know. Being in this part of town means it is always crowded. There is a lot of noise, people shouting, and carts moving around all day long. We have rolls of fabric everywhere and it gets a bit tight in here sometimes. We don't have fancy lights or air conditioning that works perfectly, but we have what we need. People come in and out all day. Some are regulars we’ve known for years. We just try to get the orders right and keep things moving. It’s a family-run kind of feel, even if we aren’t all family. We know the tea seller nearby and the other shopkeepers on the street. It’s a community. The shop is old and the floor is a bit worn down, but that’s because a lot of feet have walked over it. We don’t spend much on decorating because we’d rather focus on the stock. If you come by, you’ll probably see us sorting through materials or talking to a customer near the door. It’s just a normal day for us. We keep it honest and keep it simple. No big claims, just fabrics.
