We are located in Kudur, which is out in Magadi Taluk in the Bangalore Rural district. Our office is right behind the SBM bank. Since we deal with the toll road, being out here makes sense for us. It’s a long way from the high-rise buildings of central Bangalore. The office is a simple structure, almost like a small house, where we manage the administrative side of the toll operations. We have a few desks, some benches for people to sit on, and rows of files. It’s a very functional space without any decorations or fancy stuff. The air is a bit cleaner out here, though the road nearby is always busy. We have staff coming in and out at different times of the day because the road never closes. We spend our time checking logs and making sure the paperwork is in order. It’s a straightforward environment. There’s no corporate jargon here; we just talk about the work that needs doing. Sometimes it gets a bit quiet in the office when most of the team is out on the road. We have a small stove for making coffee and tea to keep us going during the long shifts. It’s a very practical way to run things. We’ve been at this spot for quite a while and it’s become the hub for everything we do. It’s a hardworking place where we just focus on the task at hand and keep moving forward every single day.
