Jakkur Flying School is also known as the Government Flying Training School. We are located at Yelahanka Main Bazar 449 25. Being a government-run place, things are handled in a very specific, traditional way. We don't have the flashy advertising that private schools might have. Our focus is really just on the training itself. The location at Yelahanka is quite well-known in the area. When you come here, you won't find a fancy lounge or a cafe. It’s a functional space designed for learning about planes and how to fly them. The buildings are a bit older, and they have that government office feel to them—lots of registers, wooden furniture, and walls that could probably use a fresh coat of paint. But that doesn't really matter when it comes to the actual flying part. We spend our time going over manuals and talking about the weather and the aircraft. It’s a place where people who are serious about flying come to put in the work. The Main Bazar nearby is always bustling, so there is a sharp contrast between the noise of the market and the focus required here. We don't try to sell anyone on a dream; we just provide the facility and the training as required by the government. It’s a no-nonsense environment where we just focus on the task at hand and follow the rules, day in and day out.
