Our place is at No 175/1 on Pavillion Road in Jayanagar’s 1st East Block. We are right near the Jayanagar Swimming Pool, which is a great landmark because everyone in the area knows where it is. Working in architecture from this part of Bangalore feels right because Jayanagar has so much character with its old trees and planned streets. We spend our time here designing buildings and thinking about how they fit into the environment. It’s a lot of creative work, but it’s also a lot of technical stuff that people don't always see, like figuring out where the pipes go or how the wind moves through a courtyard. The office is a bit of a mess sometimes, with papers, books, and models scattered around, but that’s just how we work best. We don’t follow a very strict corporate style here; it’s more about the ideas and getting them down on paper in a way that makes sense. Being on Pavillion Road means we get to see a lot of the local life passing by. We’ve been around for a long time, and our approach has always been a bit different from the standard way of doing things. We just focus on the work itself and let the buildings we design do the talking. It’s a busy office but we always find time to sit down and discuss a new project over some tea.
