Jagadish Shastri

Jagadish Shastri is located at 109 Basaveshwara Nagar on the 1st floor of 7 B Main. We are very close to the Ambabhavaneshwari Temple, so you can often hear the bells or the chanting from across the street during the festival times. It’s a fairly quiet area most days, which helps with the work we do. The office is upstairs, so it’s a bit removed from the noise of the main road. Inside, it’s a very simple setup with some chairs and a table where we sit down with anyone who comes by. We’ve been in Basaveshwara Nagar for a long time, and many people in the neighborhood know the way to our door. It’s not a place with flashy lights or big advertisements; it’s more of a traditional space where things are done the old way. We usually spend the mornings preparing for the day’s visitors and keeping things tidy. It’s important to have a calm environment given the nature of the consultations we provide. People come to us with all sorts of questions, and we just listen and try to help based on our experience. It feels more like a community service than a regular business sometimes. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who have been doing this for years. It’s a steady life and we are happy to be situated near the temple.
