You’ll find Jagadish Rai Sharma & Company at 50 Old Thargupet. This is one of the older parts of the city, and our building definitely shows its age. The walls are thick, and the ceilings are high, which keeps it a bit cooler than the street outside. We have been operating from this same spot for quite a long time. Our daily life involves a lot of paperwork and dealing with people who come in to settle accounts or place orders. The office is filled with the sound of old fans and the scratching of pens on paper. We have rows of wooden cabinets that are probably older than some of the staff. It’s not a high-speed environment. We take our time to make sure things are done right. The street outside is narrow and usually blocked by trucks unloading goods, so there is always a lot of shouting and honking going on. Inside, we just focus on our tasks. We don't have a website or any fancy brochures. We just rely on the fact that people know where we are and what we do. It’s a quiet, persistent way of working that hasn't changed much over the decades.
