We are over on Lavelle Road, right near the Godrej Properties building. It’s a nice enough spot on 2nd Cross. We have students coming in and out all day. The place is often full of fabrics, sketches, and people talking about designs. It’s not a quiet office, that’s for sure. We’ve been here for a good number of years. The building at No 79 is where everything happens. It’s a bit of a mix of people teaching and people learning how to make clothes. We don't have any polished speeches about what we do. It’s just about getting the work done on the sewing machines or the computers. Lavelle Road is a busy place in Bangalore, so there's always something going on outside our windows. We mostly just keep to our classes and our projects. It can get a bit messy with all the materials lying around, but it’s a creative space after all. We have a small staff that keeps the place running. Sometimes the schedules get a bit tight, especially during exhibition times when everyone is rushing. We don't really do the corporate thing. It’s more about the actual hands-on stuff like draping and cutting. People know us as the place on the corner near the big apartments. It’s just where we spend our days teaching the basics and the advanced stuff. We enjoy the energy the students bring to the building every morning.
