Our Bangalore office for Ivrcl Infrastructures & Projects Limited is tucked away in J.P. Nagar 7th Phase. Specifically, we are at No. 29 on the first floor, right on the 1st Cross of 24th Main Road in the Puttanahalli area. Bangalore traffic can be a total nightmare most days, but this spot is relatively accessible once you get off the main drags. It’s a typical office space for a construction and infrastructure firm. We have some small meeting rooms and a lot of open space for the engineers to look at their drawings. It is a busy place because there is always some project going on in or around the city. We have a mix of people here, from those who have been with the company for a long time to newer staff. It’s not a sterile environment; there are half-empty coffee cups and stacks of papers everywhere on the desks. We don’t really do the whole corporate polish thing here. We just focus on the work that needs doing. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet is slow, but we just keep working through it. It’s a functional space where we handle the logistics and the planning for our local contracts. Most days are spent on the phone or in quick meetings before everyone heads out to the different sites across the city. It’s just how we operate here in Bangalore and we’re used to the pace.
