Ivrcl Infrastructure & Projects Ltd

Mountain Street is a pretty nice place to be based. We are at number 74 in the 1st Block East of Jayanagar. It’s one of those parts of Bangalore that still has some big trees left, so it’s not as hot as the concrete areas. The office for Ivrcl Infrastructure & Projects Ltd is basically a converted house. It feels a bit like a home, with small rooms and a kitchen where we make coffee. The traffic on the main road can be a nightmare, but our street is usually okay. We have a lot of boxes stacked in the hallway because we're always getting supplies for the sites. Some of the chairs are a bit squeaky. We sit around the dining table for most of our big discussions. It works for us. There are plenty of places to grab a quick meal nearby, which is good because nobody here likes to pack a lunch. We’ve got a small garden area in the front that we try to keep tidy, though the weeds usually win. Inside, the walls are covered with project timelines and calendars. It’s a busy atmosphere with people coming and going all the time. Sometimes we stay late to finish up reports for the head office. You get used to the sound of the city after a while. It’s just how things go in Jayanagar. It's a decent place to work and we've been here for several seasons.
