Ivory Edge

We are tucked away on the ground floor at number 1741. It’s on 9th Cross in the 2nd Phase of JP Nagar. Ivory Edge is our small space where we work on different design and creative things. The office isn't very large, but we’ve made it comfortable. We have some samples of materials and a lot of drawings scattered around the tables. JP Nagar is a nice place to be, with plenty of trees and cafes nearby. We spend our time talking to people about their homes or offices. It’s not a corporate firm with hundreds of employees. It’s just us. We don't have a big receptionist desk or a waiting room. People usually just walk in and we find a chair for them. The lighting in the back isn't the best, but we have some good lamps to see what we are doing. We’ve lived in this part of Bangalore for a long time, so we know the local suppliers well. Sometimes the work gets a bit messy with all the fabric and wood samples, but that’s just part of it. We don't have any scripted lines to say or fancy marketing brochures. We just listen to what people need and see if we can help them out. It’s a relaxed environment. Most of our days are spent sketching or on the phone with workmen. We just enjoy the process of making things look better for everyone.
