Irest

Irest is located over at 48, Udaya Layout in Yelahanka New Town. It’s a pretty peaceful part of the city compared to the main center. We’ve got this spot in a residential layout, so it’s mostly houses and small shops around us. We don't have a giant glass storefront or anything like that, just a regular building where we do our business. Most days are spent managing our stock and talking to people who are interested in what we offer for resting and comfort. The air in Yelahanka is a bit better than the rest of Bangalore, I think, and we keep the windows open a lot. Sometimes the neighborhood dogs make a bit of a racket outside, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We aren't a high-pressure kind of place. If someone comes by, we just show them what we have and let them decide for themselves. Our office at number 48 is simple, with some chairs and a table where we handle all the paperwork. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We know our regulars and we like the fact that we can work in a place that feels more like a community than a business district. We’ve been here for a while now and don't see ourselves moving anytime soon. It’s just a practical, local business where we try to do right by the people who come through our door in Udaya Layout.
