Insulation Systems

Our shop is number 23 on Susheela Road, which is right by the Lalbagh West Gate in Chikkamavalli. It is a good spot because the park is so close, and we get a bit of a breeze from that direction sometimes. Insulation Systems is a pretty straightforward place. We sell all the stuff people need to keep their buildings cool or warm, like glass wool and foam sheets. The shop is usually full of big, bulky rolls that take up most of the space. There isn't much room for chairs, so we are usually on our feet most of the day. It gets a bit dusty with all the materials we move around, so we try to keep the door open. We don't have any fancy marketing materials or a polished sales pitch. If you come in with a problem, we just show you what we have and tell you how it works. We’ve been here for quite a while now, and we know most of the contractors in the area. Our sign out front is a bit faded from the sun, but everyone knows it's us. We don't spend money on things we don't need. Most of our day is spent loading trucks or cutting sections of insulation to size. It’s physical work, and we are usually pretty tired by the time we close up. But it’s a good kind of tired. We just do our work and don't make a big deal about it.
