Instruments India is tucked away in the B-8 I.T.I Ancillary Estate over in Mahadevapura. This area has been around for a long time and you can tell by the way the buildings look. Our spot isn't the biggest, but we manage to fit everything we need inside. It is an industrial estate, so there is always the sound of machines or someone loading a truck nearby. We’ve been operating out of this unit for quite a while now. The floors are a bit worn down and the lighting isn't the brightest, but it is a good place to work. We don't really do the whole office culture thing. Instead, we spend our time handling the instruments and making sure everything is sorted out. It gets a bit hot in the summer because the ventilation isn't perfect, but we have some fans that help out. Most of the people working here live around Mahadevapura, so we see each other at the local tea stalls sometimes. It is a small team and we all know our roles. We don't spend money on fancy signs or marketing stuff because we are usually too busy with the actual work. It’s a simple setup where we just focus on the tasks at hand. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the middle of a job, surrounded by tools and boxes. That’s just how we run things here.
