Insite Designs

Our small design space is on the first floor of Balaji Niwas, right on Laxmiah Street in Ulsoor. If you know Bangalore, you know how busy and crowded this area gets. We have been working out of this spot for a while now, mostly focusing on local projects and interiors. It is not a huge studio with dozens of designers. It is a small team, and the office is usually filled with material samples, sketches, and rolls of drawings. We spend a lot of our time visiting sites around the city, dealing with contractors, and trying to find the right fittings in the local markets. It is a lot of running around, to be honest. We do not have a big flashy portfolio or a sales pitch to give people. We just take on a few jobs at a time and try to get them right. Sometimes things go wrong with a supplier or a delivery gets stuck in traffic for hours, but we just deal with it as it comes. We like working in Ulsoor because it is central and has a bit of character. Most people find us through friends or by just walking past the building and seeing the sign. We do not do much fancy advertising at all. We just like making spaces look decent and functional for the people living in them. It is a practical business, and we try to keep the process as straightforward as possible.
