Insilica Semiconductor

Insilica Semiconductor is located at 112 Krishnappa Layout, which is right off Lal Bagh Road in Bangalore. Being in this part of the city means we deal with the usual Bangalore traffic every single day. The building is an older one, tucked into the layout away from the heaviest noise of the main road. It’s a small office where we handle a lot of technical work related to chips and circuits. We have some workbenches with soldering irons and various components scattered around. It’s not the kind of "tech giant" office people imagine when they think of Bangalore. It is more of a grassroots, hardworking spot. The floors are a bit scuffed and the lighting could be better, but it suits us just fine. We have a small pantry where the kettle is almost always running. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we don't need many rules. Lal Bagh is close by, so sometimes we go there to clear our heads when a project gets frustrating. The address is easy to find once you get into the layout, even if the building numbers are a bit confusing to newcomers. We don't have a big fancy sign, just a small one near the entrance. It’s a practical place for people who like to build things and don't care about the glitz of the big tech parks.
