Info Packkaging Systems

We operate out of 280 Rajajinagar, a place that stays pretty busy with all kinds of small businesses. Info Packkaging Systems is basically a warehouse filled with rolls of plastic, stacks of cardboard, and machines that wrap things up tight. The noise is constant once we turn the equipment on in the morning—clacking and whirring all day long. My ears usually ring a bit by the time I go home. We deal with a lot of local companies who need their products boxed up so they don't break during shipping. There is always tape stuck to everything, including my clothes, and the floor is usually covered in those little plastic scraps that are impossible to sweep up completely. We don't have a fancy office; it’s just a desk squeezed in between the shipping pallets and the loading bay. Sometimes a machine jams and we have to spend an hour with a wrench getting it unstuck, which usually leaves us covered in black grease. The air in here is dry from all the paper and cardboard, so we keep a water cooler in the corner that gets used a lot. It’s not the most exciting job, but there is something satisfying about seeing a pallet all wrapped up and ready to go. We just keep the lines moving and try to stay on top of the orders that come in. It gets dusty, but it is honest work.
