New Carpet House

You can find New Carpet House on Infantry Road. It’s a well-known street and we’ve been here for quite some time now. The shop is filled with rolls of all kinds of things. It can get a bit crowded when we get a new shipment in. We spend a lot of our time moving heavy rolls from one side of the room to the other. It’s physical work and your back definitely feels it by the end of the week. We don’t really do any big advertising or anything like that. People mostly just see us when they are walking or driving down Infantry Road. The building is older, which gives it a certain feel, though it means we have to fix things like the plumbing or the lights every once in a while. We aren't trying to be a fancy showroom. It’s just a place where we keep the stock and help people who come in looking for something specific. Some of the rolls have been there for a bit, while others go out the door almost as soon as they arrive. We have a small desk in the back where we keep the books and eat our lunch. It’s a simple setup. We like being on this road because there’s always something happening outside. It’s just a regular local shop doing what we’ve always done. We open the doors in the morning and see who stops by.
