Ind Stick

Ind Stick is located out at number 273 in the Panchratan Estate. This is part of the GIDC area in Sunkadakatte, which is quite an industrial part of town. We are right near the Vinayaka venkateshwara temple, so we hear the bells ringing every now and then, which is a nice break from the machines. Our workplace is mostly a workshop and storage area where we handle various types of adhesive products and sticks. It’s a practical environment with concrete floors and high ceilings. We don't have a fancy reception area or plush chairs. Instead, we have workbenches and shelves filled with raw materials and finished goods. The air usually smells a bit like glue or plastic, depending on what we’re processing that day. Most of us wear work clothes because things can get a bit messy when we’re mixing batches or packaging items for transport. The estate gets pretty dusty when the wind picks up, but that’s just how it is in this part of GIDC. We start early in the morning to beat the worst of the heat and finish up when the orders are all sorted. It's hard work, and we all put in the hours to make sure the quality is what it should be. We’ve been here at this site for years, and most of the neighbors know us by name. We just focus on getting the product out the door and keeping the machinery running smoothly.
