Imprints

We are located in the Camp area, specifically at Jayanagar 1. Imprints has been here for a while. The office is in an old building that has a lot of character, which is a polite way of saying the plumbing is a bit temperamental. Being in the Camp area means we are close to everything, which is handy. The office is basically one big room where everything happens. We have shelves full of old projects and stacks of paper that never seem to get smaller. Jayanagar 1 is a busy part of town, so there’s a lot of foot traffic outside. We don't have a big sign, so people sometimes walk past us. The interior is pretty simple. We have some decent computers and a printer that makes a very specific grinding noise when it starts up. We usually have the radio on to keep things from being too quiet. Most of our time is spent just working through whatever is on the desk. There isn't much of a lobby, so guests just pull up a chair next to us. It’s a very informal way to run things, but it’s worked for us so far. We go through a lot of tea during the day. The sunlight hits the front window in a weird way in the late afternoon. It’s just a normal place where we do our work and try to stay organized. It is just a routine.
