Immanuel Printers

Immanuel Printers is on the first floor at 26 Krishnarajpuram. We are very close to the Government School, so we hear the bell ring all through the day and the sound of the children playing during their breaks. The stairs up to our place are a little steep, and we have to be careful when we are carrying heavy boxes of paper up and down. Inside, the main sound is the rhythmic clicking and humming of the printing machines. There are stacks of flyers, booklets, and business cards on almost every flat surface. We have ink stains on our hands most of the time, and the smell of fresh print is everywhere. It is a bit of a cluttered space, but it is a productive one. We have a small counter near the door where people can leave their files or pick up their finished jobs. The light from the windows is quite good, which helps when we are checking the colors on a proof. We have an old clock on the wall that ticks a bit too loudly, but nobody seems to mind. It is a busy little shop and we just keep pushing through the orders as they come in. We like being part of the neighborhood here and seeing the familiar faces from the school and the nearby houses. It's just a normal day of work for us.
