Ijm (India) Infrastructure Ltd is on the first floor of Anand House, 100/2. We’re in R.S.R Colony, right on Immadihalli Main Road in Whitefield, Bangalore. Living and working in Whitefield means dealing with the traffic, which everyone knows is a headache. But being here puts us close to a lot of the action. The office is at 560 066, and it’s a pretty functional space. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls. It’s mostly maps of the city and project timelines taped up everywhere. We have some desks and a small area where we eat lunch together. Most of our work involves the infrastructure side of things, so we’re always looking at blueprints or talking to contractors. Bangalore is always expanding, and being in a spot like Immadihalli keeps us in the loop. It’s a bit of a climb up to the first floor, but it’s a good view of the street. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just keep going. We don’t really do the corporate marketing thing. We’re just a group of people trying to get things built. It’s dusty and loud sometimes because of the construction nearby, but that’s just life in this part of town. We stay busy and we don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders or visitors because we have too much work to do.
