We are located over on Begur Road in the Hongasandra area of Bommanahalli. It’s a part of Bangalore that has changed a lot lately. There’s constantly new construction and the roads are always a bit torn up. Our building is right there in the middle of it all. It’s a bit of a trek to get here depending on where you are coming from, but we’ve made this our home. Inside, the office is pretty cluttered with drawings, sketches, and various samples we’ve collected over time. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. The light comes in through the side windows in the afternoon, which is nice, but it also makes the room pretty warm. We have a small corner where we keep a kettle for tea and coffee. It feels more like a workshop than a corporate office. We spend our days talking through ideas and trying to figure out how to make things work. Sometimes we lose track of time and find ourselves still here when the street lights come on. It’s a bit noisy with the traffic from Begur Road, but you get used to it after a week or two. We are just a group of designers and consultants trying to do our jobs in a busy corner of the city. The Banglore 68 pin code area is where we spend most of our waking hours.
