Our Whitefield office is up on the 9th Floor of the Delta Block in Sigma Soft Tech Park. It’s right across from Varthur Lake, which is a nice view when we actually have time to look out the window. Banglore 66 is a tech-heavy area, but we’re doing the structural and project side of things here at Ideb Projects Pvt Ltd. The elevator can be a wait in the mornings, but once you’re up here, it’s a good space for the engineers to focus. We have more computers here than in our other spots because of the design work. The commute on Whitefield Road is always a bit of a nightmare, so most of us get in early and stay late to avoid the worst of the traffic. You’ll see plenty of safety helmets sitting on top of filing cabinets. We deal with a lot of vendors and contractors from this location. The atmosphere is pretty casual; nobody wears a tie unless they absolutely have to for a big meeting. We’ve got a small pantry area that sees a lot of use. It’s a bit more modern than some of our other offices, but it still feels like a workspace where things actually get built. We spend a lot of time on the phone with site managers. It’s a busy environment, but we’ve got a rhythm that works for the team.
