If you find yourself in BTM 1st Stage, you’ll likely pass by our place on 20th Main. We are based at House No 90, specifically on the 2nd Cross. Ideb Projects (P) Ltd is a local operation through and through. The office feels more like a home because it’s in a residential house, which suits us just fine. It’s quieter than being on the main road, though the delivery bikes still zip past quite often. We spend our days managing various project details, from material costs to site schedules. The team is just a few local folks who know the industry. We don’t have fancy mission statements on the walls. Instead, we have calendars with deadlines circled in red and piles of site reports. It’s a practical environment. We drink a lot of coffee to stay sharp. Sometimes the monsoon rain makes it hard to get out to the sites, so we huddle in the office and catch up on the back-end stuff. We’ve been part of the Bangalore scene for a bit now, seeing how the city grows. Our role is just to handle the projects we’re given and make sure they don’t fall behind. It’s not always easy, and things go wrong sometimes, but we just fix them and move on. That’s how we’ve always worked here in BTM. It takes time to get things moving, but we stick with it until the end.
