Ideal Fibre Glass Industry

Our workshop is situated in Abbigere on Gurukul Road, at 12/2-15/A. Ideal Fibre Glass Industry is basically a large shed where we spend our days working with resin and glass fibers. It’s a very dusty environment, so we are always wearing masks and old clothes that we don't mind getting ruined. There is a constant sound of grinding and sanding going on. We make all sorts of things, from small parts to larger structures, depending on what people ask for. The floor is usually covered in scraps and white dust, and we sweep it up at the end of every week. It’s hard work and it can be quite hot in the summer months because the roof is just corrugated metal. We don't have an office staff; we just handle the paperwork ourselves on a small desk in the corner. Sometimes the smell of the resin gets a bit strong, so we keep the big doors open for air. We’ve had some of the same workers here for over a decade, and we all just know the routine by heart. We don't spend money on advertising because word of mouth in Abbigere seems to do the trick for us. People know where we are if they need something made out of fiberglass. We just show up, do the work, and head home when the sun goes down. It is a quiet, honest business.
